INGREDIENTS
Beef 500g
Chicken 500g
Onion 1
Carrot 1
Parsley root 1
Celery stalk 1
Bay leaves
Peppercorns
Salt
Water 3l
INSTRUCTIONS
Step1: Place beef, chicken, whole onion, carrot, parsley root, celery, bay leaves, peppercorns, salt in a pot. Cover with water. Bring to a boil, then simmer 2-3hr. Skim off any foam.
Step2: Strain broth, remove and discard vegetables and bones. Season as needed.
Step3: Serve as a base for soups or drink as a warm, comforting broth.
