INGREDIENTS

Dried split peas 500g
Ham bone or hock
Onion 1
Carrot 2
Celery 2 stalks
Bay leaf
Water 2l
Salt
Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Step1: Rinse peas, soak overnight. Drain.

Step2: In a pot, combine peas, ham bone, chopped vegetables, bay leaf, water. Bring to boil, simmer 1hr.

Step3: Remove ham bone, blend soup to desired consistency. Season with salt, pepper. Serve hot.
