INGREDIENTS

Rice 400g
urad dal (split black gram) 100g
potato 500g
onion 2
mustard seeds 1 tsp
turmeric 1 tsp
curry leaves
green chili 2
vegetable oil
salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Step1: Soak rice, dal overnight. Grind to a batter, ferment overnight. Cook potatoes, mash.

Step2: Sauté mustard seeds, onion, chili, turmeric, curry leaves. Add to potatoes.

Step3: Spread batter on hot griddle, fill with potato mixture. Serve with chutney and sambar.
