INGREDIENTS
Dried split peas 500g
ham hock 1
onion 1
carrots 2
water 2l
bay leaf
salt
pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Step1: Soak peas overnight. Cook with ham hock, chopped vegetables, bay leaf in water until peas are soft.
Step2: Remove ham, chop meat, return to soup.
Step3: Season with salt, pepper. Serve with mustard and rye bread.
