INGREDIENTS

300g beef
3 medium beets
1 large carrot
1 medium onion
1 potato
1/2 head of cabbage
400ml tomato paste
5 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp sugar
Salt
Pepper
1.5 liters of water
Sour cream for serving
Fresh dill for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Boil beef in water until tender, about 1 hour. Remove meat and reserve broth.

Step 2: Grate beets and carrots, chop onions. Sauté vegetables in oil until soft.

Step 3: Add vegetables to broth with chopped potatoes and shredded cabbage.

Step 4: Stir in tomato paste, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.

Step 5: Add minced garlic and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve with sour cream and dill.
