Beef chuck 1kg
carrot 3
onion 2
tomato paste 2 tbsp
star anise 2
cinnamon stick 1
lemongrass 2 stalks
fish sauce 2 tbsp
sugar 1 tbsp
beef broth 1l

INSTRUCTIONS

Step1: Brown beef. Add chopped onion, lemongrass, spices, tomato paste, broth, fish sauce, sugar. Simmer 2hr.

Step2: Add carrots, cook until tender.

Step3: Serve with baguette or over rice noodles.
