INGREDIENTS

Black-eyed peas 500g
onion 1
garlic 2 cloves
dried shrimp 100g
salt
palm oil for frying
vatapá (Brazilian shrimp paste) for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

Step1: Soak peas overnight, remove skins. Blend peas, onion, garlic, salt to form a batter.

Step2: Heat palm oil. Spoon batter, fry until golden. Drain on paper towels.

Step3: Serve hot with vatapá and salad.
