Onions 6
beef stock 1.5l
white wine 200ml
garlic 2 cloves
thyme
bay leaf
butter 50g
flour 2 tbsp
baguette slices
grated Gruyere cheese 200g
salt
pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Step1: Caramelize onions in butter. Sprinkle flour, cook 2m. Add wine, then stock, garlic, herbs. Simmer 30m.
Step2: Top with baguette slices, cheese. Broil until cheese bubbles.
Step3: Serve hot.
