INGREDIENTS
Beef chuck 1kg
bacon 200g
carrots 3
pearl onions 200g
mushrooms 200g
red wine 500ml
beef stock 200ml
garlic 3 cloves
thyme
flour 3 tbsp
butter
salt
pepper
olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Step1: Brown beef in oil. Cook bacon, remove. Brown mushrooms, onions.
Step2: Return beef, bacon. Sprinkle flour, add wine, stock, garlic, thyme. Simmer 2hr.
Step3: Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
