INGREDIENTS
Flour 500g
Baking powder 15g
Sugar 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Water 350ml
Vegetable oil (for frying)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step1: Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt. Add water to form a dough.
Step2: Divide dough into portions, flatten into discs. Fry in hot oil until puffed and golden on each side.
Step3: Serve warm with butter, jam, or as a side to soups and stews.
